GENERAL INFORMATION

Please read the following terms and conditions before making a reservation. It is important to both parties that you understand this agreement in relation to your use of Arctic Dream Escapes.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Transaction fees/ booking fees may not be refunded.
We collect and refund online payments in Norwegian Kroner (NOK). When we issue a refund to a card using another currency, your bank will convert it from NOK for you. The amount of your refund depends on the exchange rate. When we refund you, the amount you get back reflects the exchange rate on the day we issue the refund. Exchange rates change every day, so the amount you get back will not match what you paid. Arctic Dream Escapes is not involved in this exchange process.



CANCELLATION/ALTERATIONS BY YOU

If you wish to cancel or alter your arrangements after your booking has been made, we will do our best to arrange this and, if possible, make these changes. Any request for changes must be made in writing by the person who made the booking.
You will receive a full refund if:

  • 8 days before arrival for individual bookings, Fit, Sic, except if the trip is during the high season.
  • 8 days before arrival for individual bookings during the high season or a bank holiday. As well as bookings that include a discount or an offer.
  • 15 days before arrival for private tours and groups (8 people or more) traveling on our scheduled tours, all year
  • 15 days before arrival for tailor made tours or tours that include partner activities, all year. Definition of “High season” = (Dec.19-Jan.9th), (Feb.7-27th) and Bank holidays.

*Bank holiday, may be considered: December 24th ,25th ,26th ,31st. Jan 1st, Easter days (2024 = March 24th, 28th, 29th, 31st and April 1st.) Send us an email if you want to schedule a group for these days and we will evaluate.

“Last minute” bookings are non refundable as they follow the policy above. Example: If a reservation is made within 72h to departure, that booking is non refundable and non reschedulable (14 days for tailor made itineraries).



CANCELLATION/ALTERATIONS BY US

Cancellations, Delays or major changes, may occur anytime due to

  • The weather conditions
  • A minimum number of participants.

If we contact you regarding a cancelation, we always try to offer an alternative, but if this is not accepted we will make a full refund of the booking.

You have to prepay the products that we sell with a card payment (Visa, Mastercard, etc) unless otherwise stated. Your card will be charged after you have entered the necessary information. Refunds take 3-7 business days before it reaches your card after our approval. Refunds must be sent back to the card that was originally debited.

TOUR PROVIDER CONDITIONS AND CANCELLATION

The following applies to all products or services booked with Arctic Dream Escapes:

The supplier’s own terms will apply in addition to Arctic Dream Escapes specific conditions as laid down in this document. These terms also apply to package tours, and it is your responsibility to read them. Such terms and conditions will be given in the travel documents.

You are responsible for complying with any supplier-specific conditions in relation to check-in times, or other matters.



OUR PRODUCT OWNERS’ /SUB SUPPLIERS’/ PARTNERS’ OBLIGATIONS

  • Accountability for supplying the product you have purchased in accordance with its description
  • Compliance with applicable legislation and regulations
  • Checking proof of identity/passports where necessary and the rejection of any travelers lacking the proper documentation.

THE CUSTOMER’S OBLIGATIONS

Do not damage the product owner’s/supplier’s/partner’s property – you may be liable to pay compensation.
Make yourself familiar with our terms of cancellation or those of our product owners/suppliers/partners.
Accept financial responsibility for all transactions made in your name.
You must be over 18 years of age and have the capacity to affect legal transactions and incur liability.
You warrant that all information about you and your party is true and accurate.
Arctic Dream Escapes must not be used to make speculative, false or fraudulent bookings.
Obtain information about rendezvous times.
Make sure that tickets and confirmations are in accordance with your booking as soon as confirmation is received.
Bring valid identification/passport or visa.
Observe the regulations given by product owners/suppliers/partners.
Do not inconvenience other travelers/participants.
